Blackmagic Design Video Recorder H.264 Encoder For Mac

It does not work.MX LightUnfortunately it does not work on mac.Parallels is reported working with the proper usb config -I in turn bought the intensity extreme, since the h.264 didn't work, but it doesn't like FMLE 3.2 either. It is such a drag that neither Adobe nor BMD has a work around for it.Like to be able to capture h.264 off the cuff live is such a time saver. Uncompressed is not a reality for most long tapings. I was using uncompressed for a time and had about 20 hours of video to capture. wow filled up the 2tb drive in less than a 3 hour recording. The footage looked great, but what a waste of time to compress it - and then have to deal with it.So my work around would be to split your signal and use 2 computers, live stream with FMLE - then Capture your h.264 on a separate stream.George. You sure it not working?

Thanks for your support! OK I'll repeat / add to what George says.NO - the H.264 Pro Recorder is NOT compatible with FMLE - or indeed any of the 'standard' streaming encoders.Unfortunately the Pro Recorder does not implement itself as an available 'camera' source as the other capture devices (DirectShow / WDM) from Blackmagic do.If you stream via Livestream - they implemented their own driver for it.Otherwise on windows you can use MXLight (very inexpensive. And works VERY well) or MXPTiny (FREE) google them if interested.
